Hey, I'm Norbert! I'm a software engineer at FlutterFlow, based in Germany, and I love doing crazy things with Flutter.
I discovered Flutter back in January 2018 and haven't looked back. Since then, I've been building open-source libraries, experimenting with wild ideas, and generally pushing Flutter into places it probably wasn't designed to go.
What I'm Building
Most of my time right now goes into Campus, a collaborative infinite canvas you can actually work on. The tiles aren't pictures of your work, they're the real thing: terminals running agents on your own machine, the app they just built, and whatever else you need within reach. Everything is opt-in multiplayer, so you can share a space with your team the same way you'd share a room. It's built with Flutter and it's free.
Some Things I've Made
Over the years I've released a bunch of open-source packages:
- flutter_ide - A visual widget editor for Flutter
- nocterm - A terminal UI framework for Dart, inspired by Flutter
- BookSearch - A digital reading progress app
- flutter_sequence_animation - Orchestrate multiple animations with ease
- flutter_villains - Page transition effects library
More recently, I embedded Dart directly into Minecraft. Yes, you can write Minecraft mods in Dart now, with hot reload. It's called Redstone.dart and it's exactly as experimental as it sounds.

I keep a list of 200+ ideas I want to explore. Some of them turn into real projects. Most of them are probably terrible. But that's half the fun.
